Documentation Required

Please bring all of the following documentation at the time of Registration.

1. Acceptable Legal Documentation as proof of Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status. Please present one of the following documents at the time of registration.

   • Canadian Birth Certificate
   • Adoption Certificate
   • Canadian Citizenship Certificate
   • Marriage Certificate
   • Study Permit
   • Canadian Passport
   • Permanent Resident Card
   • Certificate of Indian Status (Band members must present Certificates of Indian Status)

2. Most recent High School Transcript and/or Report Card or a document showing your Alberta Education Student ID Number.

3. Course fees payable at time of registration.

4. If transferring to CBe-learn from a Calgary Board of Education School, bring the completed “CBE Application for Transfer” form obtained from the Principal of your school.

5. Students of Catholic and Private Schools, please provide appropriate documentation indicating that prerequisite requirements have been met.

6. Full-time CBe-learn Students Only:  If you have an active I.P.P. (Individualized Program Plan), please bring to your registration appointment photocopies of the most recent I.P.P and all other specialist reports (psychologist or psychiatrist, behavioural specialists etc).

Learner Recommendations:

Be comfortable with and able to navigate a computer easily and the ability to seek help for content and technical problems.

• Minimum reading level Grade 8 in English.
• Is self-motivated and takes control of own learning.
