The instructor changes some course content yet I don't see any changes. What is wrong?

Often a web browser will store files on your local hard drive to speed up browsing. When this happens, you may not see recent updates to a page you have visited.

To solve this problem you need to clear the files from your hard drive, then you will need to refresh the webpage.

Here are the instructions on how to do this for Netscape:

1. Select Options from the Tools menu.

2. Select privacy, then clear the cache and click ok

Refreshing or reloading the page will fix the problem, however the way D2L displays information using frames, refreshing or reloading may take you back to the course home page.

To refresh press F5.

Alternatively, you can right click (Ctrl-click) on the topic's frame and choose reload or refresh - the exact process will depend upon which browser you are using.

If you are taken back to the course homepage, just navigate back to the content topic in question.
