TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS:
In the event a product or fee is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing, the Calgary Board of Education shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product at the incorrect price. The Calgary Board of Education shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY:
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your registration or fee payment, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. The Calgary Board of Education reserves the right at at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. The Calgary Board of Education reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to cancel registration in a class or to supply less that than the quantity of products you ordered. All orders placed over $2000 CAD must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our Financial Services Department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.
REFUND AND RETURN POLICY:
Fees are refundable within the first month following the close of registration at 90% of the paid fee. Deposits for textbooks and other educational materials are fully refundable. Fees for textbook rental or other educational materials are not refundable. Specific details about fees and refunds are published on this website under the tab or link to "Registration". Textbooks and other educational materials returned for refund of the deposit must be in usable condition. We reserve the right to refuse the return of textbooks or other educational material that, in our opinion, is no longer usable. We will invoice you for any materials returned in an unusable condition or for materials that are not returned for refund in an amount equal to the replacement cost of the textbook or other educational materials you paid a deposit to use.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATIONS:
An authorization on a credit card is a hold against your banks credit card spending limit. When a registration is complete or textbooks and other educational materials have been obtained by you a charge for the total amount of the order will be sent to your credit card bank. Your bank should release the authorization when the charge is received. A charge is the only time a transfer of funds is complete; an authorization is not a transfer of funds.
USE OF SITE:
The Calgary Board of Education authorizes you to view and download the materials at this website only for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original materials on any copies of the material. You may not modify the materials at the site in any way or reproduce or publicly display, perform or distribute or otherwise use them for any public or commercial purpose. Any use of these materials on any other website or networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited. The materials at this site are copyrighted and any unauthorized use of any materials at the site may violate copyright and trademark laws. If you breach any of these terms, your authorization to use the site automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials.
